On Twitch, having emotes in a cute, anime/chibi style is very common. Personally, I didn’t want that. I wanted my emotes to stand out from the crowd and be truly unique.
I’ve known Meike for more than 10 years and have loved her art from the beginning, so she was the obvious choice when I planned to redesign all my emotes. She allowed me to make important decisions, but never at the expense of her own style. I wasn’t disappointed—I love every single one of her emotes, and so does my community!
